Marrow Records
Ramon Judah – Outta Road 7″

Marrow RecordsThe new year is here and it seems to have ignited some serious creativity in the reggae world as new releases are coming thick and fast! This 7″ which is the latest release from Marrow Records is called ‘Outta Road’. It pushed its way to the front of the review queue because it has a big ruff ‘n’ tuff sound that grabbed me after the first few bars. This track is a big bass, play it loud, head down, dancing in a field type of song.

The big echo heavy sound, courtesy of Italian producer Uomoradio, gives the single some serious dub credentials. Vocals are provided by Ramon Judah, recorded at the legendary Conscious Sound studio by Dougie Wardrop and Ramon’s understated style fits this tune perfectly. Flip over the single and the dub is as good as you will hear this year.

Marrow Records is owned by Tre Vibez and since 2012 he has been releasing some fine singles. This one is top of the tree I think and is available now from the Marrow Records website……if you love a bit of dub heavy roots then buy it!

Have a listen below, let me know what you think in the comments, it would be good to hear from you….. if you fancy clicking a button as well to share this short review with your friends then great. Bless, Paper Lion.
